CHAMBERS BUILDING

Historic renovation and adaptive reuse of apartments.

The Chambers Building is a twelve-story structural steel framed building featuring an intact terra cotta exterior. The building was constructed in two building campaigns: in 1915, the original five-story building was erected and in 1923, the final seven stories were constructed. A complete historic restoration and adaptive reuse for 50 loft-style apartment units, leasing office, fitness area and 1st floor commercial lease space was commenced in May of 2002, and completed in May of 2003.

SWD services included schematic design, construction documents and construction administration.
