Historic renovation and adaptive reuse to residential condominiums

Fountains Lofts project is an 8 story heavy timber building with 46 residential condominium units, a fitness room with whirlpool and sauna, club room, and a home theater, located in the heart of the historic Garment District.

The design philosophy followed for this unique project was to focus attention on the defining architectural attributes of the building. Simplistic contemporary design and detailing was utilized to highlight the industrial brick walls and wood ceilings. Large exterior balconies were added on two secondary facades.
