Historic renovation and adaptive reuse to loft apartments
The Graphic Arts Building, currently houses the Graphic Arts Lofts. It is an eight story, reinforced concrete building in downtown Kansas City, Missouri.
The building was built in 1915 as a headquarters for commercial printing and related graphic arts trades. In 2005 it was added to the National Register of Historic Places.
The first floor houses the leasing office for all of Old Town Lofts 14 historic property developments, with the remainder of the building consisting of 58 loft style apartments.
SWD services included schematic design, construction documents and construction administration.
