PINE MANOR APARTMENTS
SWD developed plans for the renovation of the thirty apartments in five buildings, along with new landscaping and other site improvements.
The renovation of the existing building exteriors included the replacement of roof systems, gutters and downspouts, entry doors, deteriorated wood trim, and vinyl siding. The windows were replaced as part of weatherization grant from the state of Kansas.
The renovation of the building interiors included new finishes, replacement of kitchen and bath cabinets, and replacement of tubs and showers as required. Additional interior work included new GFI electrical outlets, the cleaning of the existing ductwork and installation of new furnaces and air conditioners.
The site improvements included the refurbishment of the existing play- ground equipment and the installation of additional new equipment. The asphalt parking lots were resurfaced while new site lighting and handicapped parking were added. Regrading was completed in several areas to provide proper site drainage and new landscaping, ornamental fencing and a new monument sign were added to complete the project.
